Bottom-line: This series is on shaky ground thanks to the suck-ass director.
Review: Season 1 of the HBO series “True Blood” was better than the mass confusion that was Season 2. Although there were many elements added that were never in the first book, Season 1 did a better job. Season two was all over the place and lost its flavor somewhere in episode three. Sookie Stackhouse (Anna Paquin) was more annoying than in the books and Eric Northman (Alexander Skarsgard) was too broody. Bill Compton (Stephen Moyer) and the vamp he made was an unneeded addition. In hopes to give all the characters something to do, the show’s creator(s) fucked things up. The maenad named Maryann Forrester (Michelle Forbes) was given too much screen time and Stackhouse was too busy begging for the lives of fools. Much of the dialogue could have been deleted.
The scene with the two Negro characters (Tara Thornton (Rutina Wesley) and her lover, “Eggs” Benedict Talley (Mehcad Brooks)) beating each other to a pulp and then having sex was beyond ridiculous. I loved seeing Laffayette Reynolds (Nelsan Ellis) get at the guy and get ready to rumble. Grodric (Allan Hyde) was semi-likable and he handled Lorena (Mariana Klaveno) just right. The part where Luke rolled up into Grodric’s nest was weak since Stackhouse didn’t hear his thoughts as she did in the book. Not even feeling the added marriage proposal and kidnapping of Compton. If Season 3 is going to be this stupid, I might as well skip it all together.

2010 has been another year where the WOS Celebs have stepped their game up in the category of bullshit, hot mess, and sloppiness. Yesterday, two WOS young bloods were in battled in another Internet War of Words. Twitter has become the "safe zone" to attack folks behind a computer and have the fans directly involved. Instant bullshit brought to everyone's and anyone's computer screens - whether asked for it or not.
