Tied Up In Interludes & Whispers

janet jackson - the velvet rope coverAlbum: The Velvet Rope

Artist(s): Janet Jackson

Official Drop Date: October 7, 1997

Blades: 7

Review: Rumors have it that this CD is about a relationship gone wrong, a new sexual revolution, and fun. Whatever it’s about, Janet stays doing something new but what’s up with all the giggles??

Too much talking for my taste. It seems that the more CDs she does the more interludes of her chit chatting she adds to the LP. If I wanted to engage in a conversation I would stalk a celeb like my cousin Tiny did at South Beach before he got arrested by the Po-Po on Memorial Weekend.

This CD can quickly get irritating, so caution… for this LP is an occasional listen. Too many dang INTERLUDES. She also speaks about getting mistreated…again. Why do women like to “fix men” or “see the potential…” PICK BETTER MEN!!! Bump that. I don’t have time to sign up for a Middle Weight Battle every time I meet up with my piece.

SAY NO TO STRESS!

The LP is very sexual and the slow jams, once again, were the ones to listen to. This sista has found a way to pimp the Industry by WHISPERING on an LP for over 53 minutes and I love it!!! Tracks 18 and 19 are very doable!
