Review: It feels that Macy Gray is my generation’s Annie Lennox. A bit out there but worth the trip. With The Id, Gray has brought her tone of sanity to the forefront and doused it with insane.
Boo speaks to the dudes who mistake some women for the “dumb bitch who’ll stick around.” From the cheating fools to regulating with her man, Id makes for an entertaining album. Give Me All Your Love, Sexual Revolution, Boo, Hey Young World (ft. Slick Rick) & Forgiveness have all helped to make this album worth listening to. 9 blades and a A for the album.
