Review: This CD is… well… have I ever held my tongue with my readers?? That’s right Heck NO! So let’s get down to business.
Silk should be strictly slow jams. NO HIP HOP tracks ALLOWED!! They are Blackstreet (when they were “IN”) gone wrong! They are the Delfonics who have lost their way. The Commodores without the funk! The Isley Brothers minus the soul!! Come back home, fellas. Come back home. “No diggity… No doubt….”
The only thing decent about this CD are the slow jams. Every other track, especially the last one, is just there as fillers. Giving the listeners time to hit the toilet or refrigerator. Speaking of toilets, only 3 songs kept this CD from hitching a ride with Mr. Tidy Bowl himself.
This thing gets 3 blades and a WTF. I advise you to watch your backs fellas, it doesn’t look good.
