This question has been bothering me for the past four years and I just wanted to throw it out there. I was convinced that Simmons was a clown when I saw him pimping credit cards out to a population that still does not grasp the concept of interest rates, are losing jobs quicker than they can find them, and are currently being raked over the coals by the financial world.
As he returns for another season of his celebality show which spawned shows and careers for his children, I am still left to ponder if he is sincerely attempting to bring a positive look into the life of a former Hip Hop artist or is this another way to dazzle the confused with pictures of luxury and drama.
I have also heard some disturbing things from legendary Hip Hop artists who have embraced the life of activism and they are none to pleased with Simmons and some actions he took with Hip Hop’s to rise to fame.
What do you think? Has Simmons truly given Hip Hop a life in the spotlight or was he simply the catalyst for its downfall?

2010 has been another year where the WOS Celebs have stepped their game up in the category of bullshit, hot mess, and sloppiness. Yesterday, two WOS young bloods were in battled in another Internet War of Words. Twitter has become the "safe zone" to attack folks behind a computer and have the fans directly involved.
