Bottom-line: Excellent album

Review: Most artists don’t have catalogs; especially ones that folks are willing to purchase consistently because one or two songs may be missing from a collection or a different format is desired. The Commodores is such a group that their fans find continued enjoyment from their music. The best of album is one of the best I’ve heard in a long time. The grooves of this soul group has returned and Lionel does his thing as usual.

“Brick House,” “Sail On,” and “Zoom” are excellent examples of what this group has contributed to the entertainment world. From one of the best 80s teen movies, The Last American Virgin, the classic song “Oh No” can be found. Other standout songs include “Nightshift,” “Easy,” “Still,” “Three Times A Lady,” and a new favorite of mine “Only You.”

10 blades and an A+ for great memories and rekindled feelings that always accompany great music; specifically music from amazing bands such as the Commodores.
