Reggae Loses Another Legend

Gregory Isaacs, the Jamaican reggae singer whose smooth style earned him the nickname “Cool Ruler” and “Lonely Lover” died from lung cancer on Oct. 25 in London. He was 59. One of Reggae’s biggest artists in the world only rivaled by Bob Marley and Dennis Brown, Isaacs toured the UK and the US on a regular basis.
