Review: This is the first album of Ms. Fly Girl/Puffy/Money Train Supporting Team; Jennifer Lopez. She’s thrown her hat into the music industry after doing the film Selena. She says that singing was a dream for her and this was her opportunity to go for it. Ummm, ok. Lip syncing in front of a large group of people who were either paid to be extras or were simply die hard fans of the slain Chicano singer helped you want to become active in the singing world. I just hope that you won’t be lip syncing to her or anyone else on your album.

After Mr. T, Don Johnson and Barney I am a bit apprehensive about television personalities hitting vinyl. I listened to this album and can say it’s tolerable… for a freshman. There were times I wished she’d lip sync to someone, and times (very few) where she did hold her own.

No I’m not a singer myself but I knew when to reign in and stop playing games. One might claim – this is not a game but I beg to differ. This whole industry is a Hop Scotch Competition. As a consumer I no longer want to be fed the bullshit that is called music. Just because a few people want to accept the garbage being exposed to them does not mean that I should give in and join the mindless drowns.

Anyway, On the 6 was pretty decent and there were songs to keep logged onto the mp3. Like I mentioned before she’s not the best singer but the songs they gave her were pretty nice. Not sure how I feel about her as a performer but if she keeps this up hopefully she’ll improve in the singing department. We’ll see.
