Review: Bones With Sex Appeal? This CD is coming from a Vet. of the music industry. He may be skinny, but for some reason the ladies go wild when he shakes his buns on stage. To me he looks as if he could use a footlong sub, but then again that’s me. Let’s get to the music.
I don’t know about the rest of you but whenever I hear track #11 all I can think about is that sexy scene in For Love and Basketball… Yo’ when I hear that intro: ‘Ahaaa…’ (something, something, something…. ‘A woman’s work…’). Between Maxwell’s version and that of Kate Bush, I rather hear it from Maxwell. Both are excellent versions, but something about hearing it from this cat just makes it twice as nice. It just does something to me!! You go, you match stick you!! Also track #7 stood out for me: For Lovers Only. All his songs got me into a good mood!
That man just has a certain way of singing the right songs at the right time… Simple, yet sexy… Everyone I stopped on the street had the same thing to say: ‘There’s just something sexy about him…’ Just like when he sang Whatever, Whenever, Wherever… Baby… You said: ’5th floor, room 1212, 6pm… Let’s get this started
