A judge decided to drop the charges against NFL’s 1999 Hall of Famer, Lawrence Taylor, but he must now be registered as a Sex Offender and be on probation for sexing an under-aged prostitute. Since when do dudes card prostitutes? And since when does banging out a prostitute become a sexual offense? This shit is out of control and fucked up? Does him being a Negro play a role in this sexual offense registry?
In an effort to escape prison, Lawrence Taylor accepted a plea bargain that had me admit to paying an underage prostitute $300 for sex. Many people have talked shit about Taylor and most, especially the prostitute, wanted Taylor to be in jail. Umm, that prostitute runaway and sold herself for money and lied about her age but now wants Taylor to lose his life behind bars? While accepting the plea bargain and avoiding a jail sentence, Taylor would be placed on a six-year probation and made to register as a sex offender. WTF is wrong with this scenario? Taylor believed the girl to be 19 when she was actually 16, but let’s be honest – how many men card their prostitutes??? Most don’t even ask for ages. People criticizing Taylor are morons who like to pretend to be informed but are actually ignorant. It’s unfortunate that Taylor got caught up in this bullshit.
So to further the ignorance of many, there were issues about Giants’ fans honoring Taylor at a game Monday night. While honoring the Giants 1986 championship team, Taylor was also in the hoopla since he was part of the team at the time of the win. The legendary football player has been pegged a “sex offender” with no regard that the girl (like most hookers) walked into Taylor’s room ready for action. The judge decided on giving Taylor a Level 1 listing on the registry that means that his picture will NOT be posted. As folks are ready to jump down Taylor’s throat for his “plea bargain” they still hold other sports players and figure heads at high esteem: Babe Ruth (druggie, alcoholic, womanizer, very fond of prostitutes); Elvis Presley (messed with multiples & married one underage girl); Jerry Lee Lewis (married his first cousin – underage); John F. Kennedy (shared a woman with his brother Bobby); Ted Kennedy (alcoholic and responsible for the death of a woman). I could go on and on but the list is too long for this article. So I’ll end with this: Folks continue to show their biases while pretending to want justice & truth. Let’s keep it real and realize the bullshit that is the justice system and sport fans.
