Bottom-line: Leaves a lukewarm residue

Review: Ne-yo seems up in arms over the latest album of his being released “early” to the American public but I don’t see what the big deal is. Oh, yeah – sales. Well, let’s see if all the drama is worth it or should the album have simply been placed on semi-permanent hold like J-Lo’s last non-release.

The album opens with a dance diddy and for those who are already drunk, Champagne Life will keep you smiling. Anything to sweat the alcohol out. At this rate Ne-yo caught more of my attention when he was attempting to be a gentleman. I felt a slight touch of the Michael Jackson influence, but even Jackson can’t make all things gold.

Telekinesis didn’t aid this album out of the ‘Lukewarm Danger Zone.’ The term ‘Crazy Love’ has been used and abused to the point it should file a restraining order. We get. Let’s all move on. I’m beginning to see why he was upset about the leak of this album. I’m upset this album will be released in the U.S. period. The tracks are so-so and the lyrics are on the brink of Bore City. This album was ok and didn’t move me to want to listen again.

B- and 7 blades.

I’ve gotten better from you Ne-yo. Need a vacation? Take one and come back refreshed. I actually like you as an artist and would be saddened to have to change my mind.
