Has Jay Sean Really Given Us His All?

Album: All or Nothing

Artist(s): Jay Sean

Official Drop Date: November 23, 2009

Blades: 7

Review: I hope this is not all that Jay Sean has to offer or else I’ll have to opt for “nothing.” I am wondering if he’s not spitting more raps and singing in Hindi because the U.S. may not accept it. I thought that was a hot touch on the last two albums he did. Very different and actually interesting. Either way, the songs are a bit stronger than the other albums and more hip hop/pop. The guest stars on the album were strong but it seems as though this albums relied more on guests than the talent of jay Sean. Hopefully there will be another album and Jay can star on his albums more than his guests. I want more Hindi from you kid! Other than that, this album blends in well with the other hip hop/pop new comers and won’t disappoint that genre. If pop/hip hop is not your love you may still find two or three songs on here to hitch on to. Songs worth a try include: Runaway, Lights Off, Just a Friend, and Used to Love Her. Heavy ballads and a smooth voice makes this album at least worth a listen to through the iTunes previews. 7 blades with room for improvements.
