Review: Tyler Perry dawned the dress once more and created another play focusing on the dramas that families bring to the table. The play was the norm and there were laughs to be had. The formulated mix of singing, trash talking, and reality checks was present and enjoyable. Madea popped in and the family dirt slid out. The slow boy in the family was the product of incest, but he sang his ass off. This brought up the conversation between Bootlegged Review Associates as to why is it that Perry can locate excellent singers and the WOS comes up empty? WTF is really going on? Every single actor on that stage sang for their supper and EARNED it, yet with al the autotune performers being promoted, the WOS gives the world less than a handful of talented individuals/groups. The real talent remains in the shadows or on a theater stage while manufactured puppets ride the wave of “success.”
This play reveals the story of Shirley (Chandra Currelley) and her family’s dysfunction. After finding out that she has little time to live, Shirley decides to gather her family to tell them. Before she can get the words out, mayhem breaks out, an old incest secrete is revealed, and the family disperses; leaving Shirley disappointed. Through all the drama, laughs, tears, and romance, the audience is taken on a roller coaster as this family attempts to settle old grudges and face new challenges together.
With a strong story, incredible singing and funny jokes, this play can be added to the list of “MUST SEE SHOWS.” 8.5 blades and a B+.

2010 has been another year where the WOS Celebs have stepped their game up in the category of bullshit, hot mess, and sloppiness. Yesterday, two WOS young bloods were in battled in another Internet War of Words. Twitter has become the "safe zone" to attack folks behind a computer and have the fans directly involved. Instant bullshit brought to everyone's and anyone's computer screens - whether asked for it or not.
