Review: Harry Potter and his Chocolate fantasy was a cute start for the film. Snapes, as always, was very captivating. The imaging was wonderful as the special effects took nothing away from the story. The return of the Hogwarts trio was a welcomed expectation. The kids brought along a few more beloved characters for another battle with Lord Voldemort. Harry continued to be lead by his emotions endangering all that love him.

Ronald found love but it seemed to have turned into obsession in a funny way. The flashbacks concerning Tom Riddle still left more to be understood. Then again most of the movie did this and the books remain the best way to understand the series.

The Half-Blood Prince is revealed and Harry gets emotional… again. This 2-hr plus film can be daunting for those who have not been following the movie or book series. Not an action packed volume, movie wise but a good film. The last installment will be broken up into two sections so we’ll see how that goes. I’m already turned off that the Obama children will be making a debut but here’s to hoping that a well done series doesn’t go to shit at the last minute.

8.5 blades for the flick.
