Review: I just discovered this group and the song that caught my attention was Hate Me. This song was very attention grabbing and had me connecting with the words. The album as a hold was pretty tolerable. I would no have made this my first choice in purchases but it was a good one. More than three songs worth listening to made this a reasonable purchase. (Yes, street vendors have rock albums for sale too.)

From beginning to end there weren’t many songs that I fast-forwarded through. Seemed like a troubled group or writer., but the stories were well told and seemed to have much meaning. Very soulful. After researching the group they seemed to have helped many of their fans through the roughest times in their lives – mainly suicide contemplations. The songs have gotten them to think of other ways to make it through. It says a lot when fans can relate to you in such a way and make changes in their own lives.

Drilled A Wire Through My Cheek, Let It Go, X-Amount of Words, She’s My Ride, and Overweight are just a few of the songs that carried this album to the top of their genre.

Drilled A Wire Through My Cheek was featured in the featured film, Saw III – awesome movie!! She’s My Ride speaks of two lovers planning on leaving their spouses to be with each other despite whatever disapproval their respective families may have.

Blue October is a group that definitely gets shine in 2006.

7.5 blades for an album with Classic potential.
