Bottom-line: One suckass “romance” = one suckass film.
Review: This film was not as sloppy as I thought it would be, but the red herrings dropped into the film made everything trivial. The ending of film sucked and made most of the back and forth useless for me watching it. John seemed to have a major chip on his shoulders and his Summer fling was not what she seemed to be. The main “no-no” that she did was send John a break-up letter while he was overseas fighting in Iraq. I don’t care for military films or films that attempt to use events like “9/11″ to seem as though they were worth making. It only spotlight that the screenwriter and director had nowhere to take the film. This gets 2.5 blades and a WTF? The characters bordered on annoying and nauseating.
