Bottom-line: Conspiracy or truth behind this film?
Review: Mel Gibson was at the height of his career when this film came out. Joined by Julia Roberts, Gibson portrayed the ultimate Sleeper who was determined to protect a woman he has been tracking since her father’s death. While he knows that there are people in high positions within the government that were involved in the death of her father, he also had to fight to protect himself from their traitorous plans.
Many of the typical sleeper cell conspiracies were thrown into this film but the cast was able to avoid it all from being over-the-top cheesy. This film gets 6.5 blades and a C+.
