Bottom-line: Can’t get into Colbie
Review: Colbie Caillat disappoints for a third time and the doubt that this will ever be an artist that I would listen to has set it. The bubbly appeal can be seen and the videos sometimes catch attention, but her overall projects are a waste of time to invest listening. She makes cute songs and one of them was Before I Let You Go, but Caillat and “cute” aren’t doing it for me. Hiring Common to rap on Favorite Song doesn’t make it for me either. Nice attempt to rope in some Negro fans. Other songs worth hearing: What If, Think Good Thoughts, and Stereo. The majority of the album sounds the same with few variations and gets this project 4 blades and a C.
