Bottom-line: A great way to warm up a Winter.
Review: Cee Lo Green has returned with his latest album and he’s not joking with the dance music. I had to calm myself down and listen to the lyrics (as a responsible reviewer would do) and prepare an honest reaction to the total package. Not being persuaded by the music. Fuck You is the ultimate theme song for all geeks and non-sexual objects that never got the opportunity to be loved by the objects of their desires. Green gave his all on this track and like other listeners, this song has become a part of my world. Now to program all anonymous calls with this ringtone and callback! “Now ain’t that some shit.”
This album sounds like Green was in a ’007 mood’ and Love Gun took me there. Two spies battling it out for love, with love, making love – get into it. Bodies was another tune to listen for as well as Grand Canyon and I Want You. An album that doesn’t make me question “why am I listening to this album?” The lyrics are fun, sexy, quirky, and the music is hot. Very danceable project and will get your party shaking. 9 blades and a A for a the Lady Killer, Cee Lo.
