Bottom-line: Cute, fun film to enjoy
Review: As a film attempting to give the lesson of “be careful what you ask for,” Madagascar follows the adventures of New York City Zoo residents as they make their way to Africa and attempt to live among the wild. Completely out of their element (being that they are caged-trained creatures) the animals attempt to help a cowardly lion find his courage and purpose in life. This film has some laughter as the penguins and lemmas light up the screen. Without their antics there would be no reason for the film to be in existence.
