Bottom-line: Could have been better, but I’ve seen worse

Review: This flash from the past was never a favorite film of mine and was difficult to watch. I couldn’t stand the crude clown and his sexual references and was unsure of the plot for the underground creatures to take over the world via a virus. If the underground leader was to be Satan then why didn’t he simply take over the world as he “usually” does? Why the gimmick of a virus bomb? Why wait for one man turned supernatural creature to kill a minion? Why the hoopla?

The premise could have been stronger but there were a few things that stood out as interesting. The acting was decent although I was disappointed with the mediocre writing. The cast was strong but placed in a poorly executed film did not do them much justice. 6 blades and a C for this film.
