Bottom-line: Why hasn’t this station been canceled?
Review: Syfy has become the official joke of cable television especially since they insist on making horribly bad movies. These movies are so bad, one only watches when they are laying on their death bed, can’t find the remote control, suffering from the flu, the batteries in the remote are dead, or absolutely NOTHING else is on cable. I’m suffering from BOMMNISWTSHBTTES, the Bored Out of My Mind and Now I’m Stuck Waiting To See How Badly This Thing Ends Syndrome.
I’m not even sure if the actors or directors really expect to make it big in a real film or not, but this seems like a dead end for everyone involved. This can only end in tears. This is supposed to be “loosely based” on the 2007 film, The Mothman Prophesies, that starred Richard Grier. That’s simply a way to say “Hey we’re going to make a real crappy film from a film that was already made. We could have done without this movie. Again, thanks Hollywood for wasting time and money on crap. No blades and a WTF? for leaving room for another installment.
