Bottom-line: This was an awesome film despite Reeves as lead

Review: This film was a winner. A look into what makes a lawyer who knows he/she is defending a guilty person fight tooth and nail to get them freed. Despite Keanu Reeves’ stale ass being the lead in this film, I focused on Charlize Theron and, of course, Al Pacino who were actually the true stars of the film. It’s bad when co-stars have to carry the lead, but when Reeves is involved it becomes expected.

The devil makes a deal with a greedy lawyer to work for his firm. Every bad deed that can be done is done and the goal is to bring Satan’s son closer to home. When things begin to unravel, Reeves must make a decision: help usher in a new world or stand alone against powerful foes. 9.5 blades and an A (I had to keep muting Reeves in my head).
