Reviewing the Whirlpool of Shame (the Entertainment Industry) is our goal.
Giving the audience a fair & honest heads up is our mission.
Voicing your opinion is your right.

The Bootlegger's Chronicles does NOT condone nor condemn the art of bootlegging Street Vending or "piracy" as the W.O.S. would like to call it. We do NOT MAKE the creations just review them.

Whose Had the Hottest Comeback in 2008?

Out of those once popular artists, who has had the best, most successful comeback?

Potter Encyclopedia Spell Bound

J.K. Rowling won the right to copyright-block a fan from publishing an encyclopedia based on her Potter dynasty. The fan actually was ready, along with a web operator, to sell the book when Rowling put a kibosh on the venture. Rowling and Warner Bros. Entertainment Inc. were awarded $6, 750 in statutory damages, according to amNY.

Dead On!

Bound By Substance: Dead Wrong

The boys of Queens are back and they brought the fire with them. The new EP, Dead Wrong is hard hitting and kicking ass from beginning to end. Wail got me energized and got me amped for the whole day. Made me want to lock someone in a basement and play this song. Similar to a flashback from Saw I when the doc woke up next to a body in some dimly lit room. Just very energizing. Hot!!

Faithfully Bustin' Lil' Kim's Ass

Lawd, just when we’ve heard all the dedications from Lil’ Kim (famous American female rapper) to Biggie (legendary American male rapper) about being his true love and miscarrying his child; a new twist to the story drops. We at The Bootlegger’s Chronicles heard rumors of this new book but now quotes are being given. Faith Evans, Christopher “Biggie (B.I.G.) Smalls” Wallace’s widow and mother of his child, Christopher Wallace, Jr., has written a brand new autobiography. I’m sure this is just a small part of the book, however, it will be a large reason why the book gets sold.

Synopsis:

Objective Hate: the Prequel is an amazing book from an amazing man. Objective Hate gets a close examination. Is the world ready to learn from this controversial man or his philosophy of Objective Hate?

Review:

Troi "STAR" Torain has been on the scene of the Entertainment Industry for a long time. His supporters know his as a man who is not affraind to come after anyone. I personally have been listening to him on the raido ever since I was first interoduced to him on the Sloppy Station (Hot "Slop" 97) as his voice greeted me at 5 AM weekday mornings.

The book, Objective Hate: the Prequel, was created since 2006 but I recently have been able to purchase the book. Once he returned to New York on Pulse 87.8 (Dance Station) he put out the invitation to all who wanted to not only meet him, but get a copy of his book as well. Not only has he evolved throughout the years but so has his journey. In this book one is allowed a slight insight into what he has been through. The book is not only insightful, but informative as well. From his young years to the dark seedy times he has experienced; Star keeps it as "100" as a supporter could ask for.

Objective Hate: The Prequel is the first book Star has released. He has stated that he will release his second book, already written, once he has set up his new station and all is underway. This supporter is only one of many who are eagerly anticipating the moment he lets that book loose on the world.

I may not always agree with what Star has to say, but respect is something that he will forever have from me.

10 blades for an Objective hater who can surely protect himself from all those subjective haters out there. Thanks for the opportunity to not only meet you, but to have one more piece of the Objective Puzzle.

Rusted In Time

Bound By Substance: Rusted Time

Now I'm no Rock 'N Roll expert but this band has some hot music. Rock 'N Roll has been known to say some twisted stuff and this band continues the tradition. Without hesitation my favorite songs off the bat are Mediate and Drink the Water. These are songs that get right to the point. "...swallow me and I'll swallow you..." and "...drink the water, let me hold you under..." Yes, get to gargling.

Flashback: NKOTB Wants to Face the Music

New Kids on the Block: Face the Music

In the latest adventure New Kids On The Block re-enter the arena with the name fans have known for few years now and with a much smoother sound. After fighting to enjoy the right of growing up, the fellas greet the fans a little less bubble gum and a little more sultry and rugged.

in doing so they had to break away from old management and get fresh insight with new producers. If You Go Away is a hot track bringing a mellow beat with an absence of Uh-Ohs. Seems that the kids have officially claimed their individual and collective manhood.

Flashback: Building New Kids Legends

New Kids on the Block: New Kids On The Block

Waaaaaaaaay back when the Black girls had New Edition and the Spanish girls had the Menudos; the drug of choice in a boy band, for White girls, rested with New Kids On The Block. Right after Maurice Starr lost his grip on New Edition he decided that he could make more money with a clean-cut, obedient and hungry group of White boys from around the way. A call went out and the fellas came to answer. (Before there was Joey, there was Mark. He didn't stick around but soon was able to spread his wings in another group called Marky Mark and the Funky Bunch.)
